Prepare Fire Roasted Gravy

Prepare Smashed Potatoes

  • Potatoes, Yukon gold, quartered 3.0 kg
  • Half and half, warmed 625.0 ml
  • Butter, melted 375.0 ml

Finish the Dish

  • Yukon Gold smashed potatoes, prepared 1.9 kg
  • Fire-roasted gravy, prepared 1.3 L
  • Spanish chorizo, diced 300.0 g
  • Queso fresco, crumbled 150.0 g
  • Cilantro, chopped, for garnish
  1. Prepare Fire Roasted Gravy

    • Combine prepared Knorr® Brown Gravy with remaining ingredients and season to taste with salt and pepper.
    • Simmer 5 minutes and reserve warm.
  2. Prepare Smashed Potatoes

    • Boil potatoes in water until tender; drain.
    • Combine cooked potatoes with remaining ingredients and mash by hand until mostly smooth.
  3. Finish the Dish

    • Top (190 g..) Yukon Gold smashed potatoes with (130 ml) fire-roasted gravy, (30 g.) diced chorizo and (15 g.) queso fresco.
    • Garnish with cilantro.
